1974
1974 the company Primex Steel Trading was founded in Düsseldorf, Germany under its original name Primary Industries Trading GmbH. With that, the company Primary Industries enters the German market for the first time.
The history of the company dates back to the year 1909 in New York, where Michael Golodetz and his Partner Marc Ginzberg founded a company named Primary Industries Corp. which dealt in commodity trading. Then, in 1959, the company Primary Steel Inc. was founded in New York, which focused on commodity and steel trade. 1974 Primary Industries Trading came to Germany, Düsseldorf, which eventually became Primex Steel Trading GmbH.
2014 - 2018
Since 2014 further overseas offices have been opened in other countries.
2014 the office in Sao Paulo, Brazil was opened, which in the meantime moved to São Francisco Do Sul, Brazil. In the same year the sales office Dubai, UAE opened.
2016 the sales office Mumbai, India opened.
In 2018, our office Cairo, Egypt was opened.
